About Us

Aberfeldy Trail Trust

Aberfeldy Trail Trust (ATT) is a community-led Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO), first formed in 2021. In 2025, we took on a new name — moving from Glassie Bike Park to Aberfeldy Trail Trust — to reflect our wider purpose and commitment to the whole trail network in and around Aberfeldy.

Our purpose is clear: to protect, maintain, and develop local trails so they can be enjoyed today and safeguarded for future generations. But ATT is more than just a trail group — we’re a charity rooted in Aberfeldy, shaped by the community, and working for the benefit of all who love the outdoors.

We care for existing routes through regular maintenance and improvements, making sure trails are safe, sustainable, and fun for everyone — from seasoned riders to families enjoying a walk together. Beyond upkeep, we’re also focused on creating new opportunities: better connections between trails, more accessible routes, and spaces where people of all ages and abilities can get outside, stay active, and enjoy nature.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with landowners, local organisations, and volunteers to secure access, develop responsibly, and ensure the trail network continues to thrive. Our work is guided by three core aims: improving outdoor access, protecting the environment, and strengthening health and wellbeing in our community.

At its heart, ATT is about people. Trails bring us together — whether it’s volunteers working side by side on a trail day, a family exploring the woods, or a rider finding their flow on a new descent. By supporting the Aberfeldy Trail Trust, you’re helping to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected future for everyone who calls this place home.

Our Work

  • Trail Stewardship – Regular inspections and maintenance keep trails safe, sustainable, and fun to ride.

  • Community Access – Creating opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy high-quality trails.

  • Partnerships – Working with landowners, local organisations, and volunteers to secure access and develop responsibly.

  • Development – Exploring opportunities for new trails, better connections, and greater accessibility.

Our Commitment

We are proud to be a charity rooted in Aberfeldy, shaped by the community and for the community. Every decision we make is guided by our charitable aims: improving outdoor access, protecting the environment, and supporting health and wellbeing.

Our focus isn’t just on the trails themselves, but also on the people who use them. Whether it’s a rider finding their flow, a family enjoying time outside, or volunteers working together on a trail day — we believe trails are a way to bring people together.

By joining forces with volunteers, supporters, and partners, we can ensure Aberfeldy’s trail network remains a source of adventure, connection, and inspiration for years to come.
